Frequently Asked Questions
What is digiscoping?+
Digiscoping means taking photos or video through a spotting scope. We attach a phone adapter to our high-end scope, letting you capture images at 60x magnification — equivalent to a 3,000mm telephoto lens.
Do I need my own camera?+
No. Our digiscoping setup works with any smartphone. If you have a DSLR or mirrorless camera, bring it — but it's not required.
What photos will I take home?+
All digiscoping photos and videos belong to you. We typically capture 100–300 images per day, plus video clips of key species.
Is accommodation included?+
Accommodation is NOT included but we help arrange lodging in Mindo at partner hotels.
What's the price for 2 people?+
From $495/person for 2 people, $415/person for 3, $365/person for 4. Solo travelers: $790.
