Dear Tim,
Welcome! We are thrilled to share this photography-focused expedition through Colombia's Western Andes and Central Highlands, designed exclusively for you. This 7-day itinerary packs an extraordinary diversity of bird species across four distinct reserves, all built around feeder stations, hides, and short-distance photography setups — no long hikes required.
From the legendary Andean Cock-of-the-rock lek at Doña Dora to the endangered Yellow-eared Parrot in the high Andean wax palm forests of Tolima, every site has been carefully chosen to maximize your photographic results with morning and afternoon light sessions.
You will be accompanied throughout by our team, who will handle all logistics, driving, and local coordination so you can focus entirely on photography.
We look forward to welcoming you to Colombia.

✈ Flight Recommendations
Day 1 — Arrival: Please book the earliest available domestic flight into Cali (Alfonso Bonilla Aragón — CLO). An early arrival allows us to reach Doña Dora Birding by midday for a half-day photography session at the feeders.
Day 7 — Departure: Please book a late afternoon or evening flight from Armenia (El Edén — AXM). We will be approximately 2 hours from the airport, and a late flight gives us time for a final morning photography session before your transfer.
